GENERAL RECREATION INFORMATION

Bedford Athletic Club (BAC) provides an exciting and engaging youth recreation soccer program for kids residing in the town of Bedford, New Hampshire.

BAC offers a low-cost, low-commitment option for pre-K through middle school kids who are looking to participate in a team sport but are not ready or interested in competing with other town teams through organized games and tournaments. Kids make friends, learn new skills and play the great game of soccer together as a "team." Young players are assigned to different groups/teams based on age. Each player receives a jersey to wear that is the same color as all their teammates, as is predetermined for each team.

In conjunction with Elite U.K. Soccer Training, LLC., BAC brings beloved professional soccer trainers to the fields each year to work with the kids. The trainers lead the kids by instruction and walk them through a variety of drills, all while getting in a good deal of quality practice time and plenty of exercise. Sessions run an hour long and usually end with playing a friendly round of scrimmages within their own team.

The Fall Rec Program runs from late Aug or early September through October. The program wraps up with an end-of-season Jamboree celebration usually held on the last Saturday in October.

BAC also offers a Spring FUN-damentals Program to all players, both Rec and Travel divisions, from April through May.

Adaptive Soccer Program

The Adaptive Program falls under the Recreation Program division. It is intended for children with physical, cognitive and social challenges between the ages of 5 and 15 years old residing in Bedford and the surrounding towns. Players are assigned to on-field buddies to help as needed.
